CEO Tea C. Dietterich works with a client portfolio including Fortune 500 companies within the mining, manufacturing and software industry as well as governments and international events. Tea focuses on technology, system integration, cyber security and risk management and works daily with global brands assisting them to enter international markets successfully.Read more Tea also studied in Montpellier, France and has travelled extensively throughout the world. Recruited by the German Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce as their Head Interpreter and Translator as well as the author for the German “Business Traveller’s Guide to Sydney & the Olympic Games”, Tea came to Sydney in 1997. In 1999, Tea founded Multimedia Languages & Marketing, now known as 2M Language Services (2M), in Western Australia. In 2000, she established an Indigenous Language Interpreting Service, the “Kimberley Interpreting Service (KIS)” in WA that provides NAATI accredited interpreters in indigenous languages, and was instrumental in promoting the rights of Aboriginal people to the services of interpreters. In 2002, she moved to Cairns where she opened another branch of her company. Today Tea operates out of the 2M Head Office in Brisbane and the 2M Europe office in Paris. She is the President of the Australasian Association of Language Companies (AALC Inc), former Chairperson of the Australian Institute for Translators & Interpreters (AUSIT) QLD and sat on the AUSIT National Council for over 5 years. In January 2017 Tea was nominated to the newly formed NAATI Technical Reference Advisory Committee (TRAC) and is also part of the NAATI RAC (NAATI Regional Advisory Council) working closely with major stake holders in the translation & interpreting industry on a day to day basis. Tea is a past winner of the Lord Mayor’s Business Person of the Year Award and an active business mentor with a special interest in international trade.She works closely with the Australian Export Industry including close involvement with the Australia China Business Council and FACCI, Export Council of Australia and has been one of the judges of the Australian Export Awards over the past 2 years. Tea is a Non Executive Board Director of the German Australian Chamber of Industry & Commerce and Executive of the QLD Chapter. Tea serves on several international boards including ABIE France (Australian Business in Europe), GALA (Globalization and Localization Association), The Rosetta Foundation and AALC. To stay abreast of the latest language technology developments, Tea also attends regularly international industry conferences including GALA – The Business of Language, Localization World, Tekom/TCWorld, TM-Europe and ELIA ND conferences. Tea is a regular guest speaker at industry events & export seminars, writes regularly for industry magazines with a column in Dynamic Business and Marketing Magazine and has been featured on Sky News Business Class program. As COO, Tanja is in charge of Operations, HR and Vendor Relations at 2M. Tanja is also overseeing the Language Technology Unit at 2M and monitoring advances in CMS integration, customer portals, automated workflows. Read more She is a NAATI Certified German Translator in her own right and specialist in handling 200+ language projects. Tanja is the calm and clever brain behind the 2M Head Office. Specialised in the Resources sector, Maïté is Senior Account Manager for our mining clients including BHP, South 32 and Newcrest. Maite is in charge of our overseas offices in Paris and Argentina and as native French speaker looks after our Francophone corporate clients as well as our French communication & translation projects for Central and West Africa. Read more Originally from France, Maïté spent a couple of years working in Berlin with a language service provider before settling in Brisbane with her Australian husband! Maïté is in charge of seeing 2M projects through from the first contact with our clients to final delivery. Maite services all national and international translation requests of our key accounts through the Follow the Sun model working with her team of project managers in 3 different timezones. Talented and very committed, Maïté is dedicated to meeting the needs of our clients in the field of new technology, system integration thus enabling crucial time to market. Languages: English, Dutch, German, French Tineke looks after our website translation projects, terminology management as well as simultaneous interpreters for international conference. Tineke also oversees the system development of our internal platforms and the client portal. Read more Tineke studied Chemistry at the University of Groningen, Netherlands and is specialised in chemical & technical translations. A fluent German speaker as well, Tineke lived in Germany for several years before migrating to Australia. Tineke has many years of experience in post-editing (PE) and has presented at conferences in Australia, NZ and Europe on the challenges and techniques of post-editing. She has also worked on dictionaries used for Machine Translation (Rule Based Machine Translation) and on TM preparation for import into machine translation engines. Tineke is an experienced subtitler in her own right and also handles voice-over productions at 2M. When not looking after 2M clients and their projects, Tineke most likely will be found outdoors and bush walking. Languages: English, Hungarian Tamas heads up the 2M Interpreting Unit and is responsible for all facets of 2M’s interpreting services including simultaneous conference interpreting, video remote interpreting, court interpreting, Indigenous interpreting and multilingual tourguide services. Read more Tamás joined 2M in November 2015 and handles all interpreting assignments (including simultaneous & conference) and cross-cultural training at 2M. An all-rounder, Tamás also works on translation and localisation projects and is in charge of Business Development domestically. Once the self-proclaimed star of a cooking show back in Hungary, Tamás has prompted us to organise a 2M Team Cook-Off at least once a year. Tamás is always up for a challenge and at times up to mischief and ensures there’s never a dull moment in the 2M Office. In charge of Language Technology and Localization Engineering at 2M, Greg assists project managers in handling files for translation, creating special file formats (creating parser rules using XPath/RegEx) as well as software integration and MT solutions and is the ‘go to’ man at 2M for all Tech matters. Read more Apart from talking turkey about LT, he also speaks Hungarian, Portuguese and Italian. To make sure he doesn’t get bored, Greg is also currently doing a Masters in IT at CQUniversity. Languages: English Jeff is in charge of typesetting, for all languages, in any format for print, screen or web production of multilingual/multiscript material. Over his 7 years in the multilingual desktop publishing industry, Jeff has found a passion for being proficient in all languages. Read more While handling all Roman based, Greek, Asian based, right-to-left and African languages, he finds particular enjoyment in working with rare languages. Jeff also ensures that all 2M artwork observe accessibility and compatibility standards and comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0 for all government websites. Along with his multilingual desktop publishing, Jeff has also completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Queensland. Studio Engineer John Bosak is in charge of all voice-over productions. He records, edits, mixes and finalises voice-over or dialogue recording to multiple formats including.WAV files, AIFF files and high-quality MP3 files. Read more As our Operations Manager, Helena is responsible for overseeing 2M’s daily business functions by finding ways to uphold and implement new best practices across all levels. Read more Helena brings with her years of hands-on management experience in clients relationship, software localisation, international and business development, project management and operations management. Successfully managing the needs of a Fortune 500 company, reviving clients translation requirements and managing, training and hiring teams across the globe are a few of her most recent achievements. Helena is a passionate representative of our industry, always enjoys being a guest speaker and sharing her views on the evolution of our amazing industry. She is fluent in French, Spanish and English and holds a BA in Languages from the University of Western Sydney. Read more Olivier is a French journalist and foreign correspondent (Press ID No: 84079) for Paris-based current news magazine “Jeune Afrique”. From 2003 to 2011 Olivier was Asia Pacific Correspondent for several French newspapers and publications including La Croix, La Tribune, L’Equipe, Ouest-France and reported on a daily basis to France about Australia and the Asia Pacific Region. She manages our Spanish and Portuguese projects for the Latin American market with a focus on the Energy & Resources sector. Read more Candela works closely with clients, vendors as well as upper management for a seamless project experience. She communicates selectively and purposefully, focuses on adding value through optimal execution and expects highest quality deliverables from self and others. Candela was born in Córdoba but spent her childhood in San Luis. She moved back to “La Docta” to study Business Management at the prestigious National University. She accumulated international experience in Brazil while refining her Portuguese skills. After graduating, Candela moved into the translation industry focusing on project management aspects.
