We are pleased to announce that 2M Language Services will be a Major Sponsor of the 2022 FECCA Conference taking place in Melbourne from the 10th to the 11th of March at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.
The Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) is a peak multicultural organisation in Australia advocating on issues that relate to ethnic communities within Australia. Hosted jointly by the Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria (ECCV), the conference will be an opportunity to hear from multicultural communities, policy makers, academics and many more as they discuss pivotal subjects related to Australia’s multiculturalism amid the country’s changing cultural and linguistic landscape.
Australia’s multicultural, diverse, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are core contributors to shaping Australia’s future. At 2M, we are continually working to provide services to promote participation and inclusiveness for improved societal outcomes among multicultural Australian communities. As a long-standing partner of FECCA and ECCV, this sponsorship is part of 2M’s ongoing commitment to community empowerment.
With technology playing an increasingly critical role in every aspect of community outreach, 2M champions innovative technology as a tangible solution to ongoing communication challenges with hard-to-reach communities.
2M will play a lead role in supporting FECCA’s upcoming conference with strategic marketing efforts to enhance the participation and experience for registrants at the event.
Tea Dietterich, CEO 2M Language Services, said, “Having supported FECCA Conferences and events as sponsors for the last decade, we know first-hand the important work FECCA and the Ethnic Communities Councils are doing. The pandemic has shone a light on how crucial it is to effectively engage with Australia’s CALD communities, give them a voice and a seat on the table. So this conference will be more important than ever. We are excited to showcase the latest language technologies and use of appropriate channels combined with culturally sensitive messaging to promote access and inclusion.”
Mohammad Al-Khafaji, CEO FECCA, said, “FECCA is once again proud to partner with 2M on the national conference and I welcome them as a major sponsor for #FECCA2022. We are thrilled to continue our long term partnership which began in 2013. We look forward to 2M showcasing their suite of technology products and cultural expertise at the upcoming FECCA Conference.”
