2M is pleased to share this survey on Australian Healthcare Interpreters‘ Role Expectations, designed by Emiliano Zucchi (Transcultural & Language Services (TALS) department at Northern Health in Melbourne) and professors Ineke Crezee (School of Languages & Culture at the Auckland University of Technology) and Shirley Jülich (School of Social Work at Massey University, Albany). The survey aims to try and understand interpreters’ perceptions and practice of their role in the health setting.

The survey will provide very useful information and will contribute to improved language services in hospitals. Interpreters are invited to complete the survey here. The survey shouldn’t take longer than 10 minutes and is fully confidential.
