Last Thursday afternoon, the Queensland Export Awards finalists were announced at the Brisbane BDO Office with breathtaking views of our River City. On Wednesday the 20th of September, the New South Wales Export Awards finalists were announced at the KPMG office in Sydney. The Export awards recognise each year excellence in international trade of our Sunshine state’s and NSW exporters and showcase the inspiring stories of courageous exporters conquering the world. It was a formidable lineup and wonderful to see all of those Finalists together, all of them being already Champions in their own right.
Queensland Export Awards finalists announcement ceremony
Richard Watson from Trade & Investment Queensland painted the picture of QLD exporters contributing to our economy, Export Council of Australia CEO Lisa McAuley freshly flow in from Canberra commended all Finalists for their extraordinary work and BDO Managing Partner Tony Schiffmann welcomed us all to BDO who has been sponsoring the QLD Awards for over 10 years. As a passionate supporter of Australian exporters and an exporter in their own right, 2M is also a sponsor of the Queensland Export Awards as well as the New South Wales Export awards. This year’s ceremony will take place at the Brisbane Exhibition & Convention Centre on 19th of October with LATAM & Argentina as a theme. Tango or Despacito? – was immediately the question about the entertainment. Either or fine with our CEO Tea Dietterich, who speaks fluently Spanish and can cater for both dance movements so we hear.
