2M has recently adopted a new self-service translation platform that streamlines the process of personal document NAATI translations. Our new platform enables individuals to self-translate personal documents and certificates. With innovation and efficiency at its core, it has the potential to transform personal document translation as we know it.
What types of documents does the platform support?
Currently, we support German > English and French > English document translation (more to be added). The service is available for the following documents:
- Birth Certificate
- Death Certificate
- Divorce Certificate
- Family Name Change
- First Name Change
- Marriage Certificate
- Police Clearance Certificate
- National ID
- German/French Baptism Certificate
- German/French Education Certificate
- German/French Employment Certificate
- German/French Passport
- EU Drivers Licence
Up to 80% cheaper than traditional translations
2M’s self-service translation platform has the edge on two main factors – speed and affordability.
The platform was developed to streamline processes and assist our NAATI-certified translators that would typically have to complete many manual steps. Instead, our platform allows the individual to translate their own personal documents, meaning you can complete translations within minutes. Once the document has been uploaded, you simply need to input the relevant details in the target language. A 2M NAATI-certified translator then reviews the document for complete accuracy. This process slashes turnaround times of traditional translation methods, where individuals can expect to receive their fully translated document in the appropriate format within 24 to 48 hours of submission.
This process automation has the distinct advantage of cost-effectiveness. Traditional translations tend to be expensive, but since the platform reduces the need for resources, you can pay a fraction of the cost for essentially the same quality translation.
The self-service translation process
The platform itself is free to access and only requires payment once the translation has been completed and approved. You may either take a photo of your hardcopy document or upload an electronic copy directly to the platform. Once uploaded, our platform uses extract translations to match your details with the details required on the new certificate or document. Translators act as both quality controllers and editors throughout the translation process to verify the certificate.
Government Approved
Users can rest assured that Australian Government agencies accept all translations completed via our self-service translation platform are certified and officially recognised due to the fact that each translation is thoroughly reviewed and stamped by a 2M NAATI-certified translator before being delivered.
